Chinese+ Russian Teachers and Students Summer Camp Program

Program Background    

This summer camp, organized by Guangdong Polytechnic of Science and Technology, is designed to foster cultural and educational exchanges between Russian and Chinese youth. Targeted at Russian teachers and students (aged 12+) from the Russian Chinese Language Teaching Alliance schools, the program welcomes participants with or without prior Chinese language experience. Through immersive learning and cultural exploration, it aims to deepen understanding of China’s social culture, technological advancements, and educational environment. 

Program Objectives    

1. Language & Cultural Skills: Equip participants with basic Chinese communication skills, traditional calligraphy, and foundational knowledge of Chinese culture. 

2. Cultural Immersion: Engage in hands-on activities such as Dragon and Lion Dance, Tai Chi, Tie-Dyeing, and traditional tea ceremonies. 

3. Comprehensive Understanding: Explore Guangdong’s technological innovations, higher education institutions, natural landscapes, and urban development through field trips and interactive sessions.

Program Highlights    

Diverse Curriculum: Combines language classes, cultural workshops, and visits to tech hubs like the Zhuhai Space Center. 

Authentic Experiences: Highlights include DIY dumpling making, architectural tours of ancient villages, and AIGC (AI Generated Content) technology workshops. 

City Exploration: Activities span Zhuhai’s coastal charm, historical landmarks like Doumen Ancient Street, and modern marvels such as the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge.
